I can almost guarantee that whoever wrote that song was: a) a man, b) married, and c) spending most of this season in his lazy boy watching football on tv while his wife ran around freaking out because she has less than 9 days to get everything done!
I'm just sayin'.

I have been baking ALL DAY LONG for gift baskets that I need to get out this week, and am still at it right now at 12:07 am. I totally agree with you, Susan!
That man in the lazy boy recliner was probably drinking eggnog and humming...."Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer". I'd like to be sitting next to him.....while my husband finishes putting up the Christmas tree, shops, wraps, bakes the cookies for the exchange and gets the rest of the cards out.

The freaking out has begun at my house (T minus 3.5 days until we leave for our long road trip; not one package is wrapped) - and the wife's freaking out and running around is calmly watched by an amused husband.
*sigh* LOL!
do I need to make a trip to CA and open a can of whoop a$$?
Same thing here though..we are leaving for Disney tomorrow...and laundry STILL isn't done...yikes.
Also, that person was most likely not a 1st grade teacher! There's been nothing wonderful about this week at school!
