that is the question......though honestly, I don't call it *pop*. I call it *soda* or *Coke*.....because it usually IS a Coke!
I am trying to cut back/out things like Coke and Starbucks. doesn't mean I won't EVER have them....just trying to get a little healthier. today is day 2 of the no soda no Starbucks. no cravings at all for either today but I have a Coke in the fridge that I bought last week. I debated whether I should drink it now and get it out of the way or if I should save it for when I am TOTALLY craving that wonderful carbonated goodness. I finally decided to leave it there......more so because I KNOW the day will come when I am so very thankful that it is there.
now...... if I drink a bunch of iced tea is that any better than all this soda??

Make it decaffienated green tea and you WILL be doing a lot better. Of course then there is the sugar to cut out.
I find it difficult to even drink soda these days as the carbonation burns my throat.
Good luck!
Hmmm, no starbucks, no coke? You are a stronger woman than I! I refuse to give up my diet coke. It's a vice.
I have to agree with Sharon--it has been nothing but green tea (home brewed, NEVER store bought) or water for me...
...maybe this tidbit will help: I lot 14 pounds by doing nothing but cutting out soda (NO cheating)
but good luck to you, it is hard, but if I can kick the diet coke habit, anyone can.
I wish I could cut out my diet Mt. Dews...but there's just no way. But the possibility of losing 14 pounds (like Joe said) just by cutting out soda's??? It sounds tempting. Nah...can't do it.
oh my. cutting soda was the best thing I ever did for weight loss. It wasn't just the sugar. It made me bloated too, even if it was diet soda (well, it also made me a nervous wreck b/c the fake sugars don't do well with my body).
now a days, I have it on special occasion b/c I LOVE THE BURN. But, over all, i think its a good thing to give up.
